“Hey, Honey!” author Paula I. Carr appears on WUSA9’s “Off Script” segment!

Joined by a group of young, energetic readers, Paula explains the origins and purpose of her beloved picture books.

(December 14, 2017, Washington, D.C.)– An English bulldog is teaching children some important lessons. Her name is Honey and she’s the star of a series of books by local author Paula I. Carr. She went on ‘Off Script’ on WUSA9 to talk about her books. In keeping with the title “Off Script,” Paula’s young readers had their own ideas and tried to inject a little chaos into the appearance. But Paula kept her cool and chatted with longtime WUSA anchor and host Bruce Johnson as if nothing was out of the ordinary. As a picture book author, she’s used to being around little ones.
